About me

My name is Caitlin Shadwell

I am a qualified physiotherapist, having studied at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, where I completed my degree in 2019. I have furthered my expertise with additional courses in Dry Needling (levels 1 and 2) and have a special interest in sports and neuromusckuloskeletal injuries and conditions.

I pride myself on staying up to date with the latest research, and I am especially interested in pain neuroscience and the latest evidence-based rehabilitation strategies.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy long-distance running, participating in Hyrox and other functional fitness competitions, and exploring the great outdoors. I'm also a certified yoga instructor with a 200-hour YTT qualification, which enhances my holistic approach to wellness.
